Resources for Non-Medical Needs

Vaya Health knows that health needs go beyond the doctor’s office. Our physical and mental health care are only part of what makes us thrive. Help finding housing, work, transportation, food, or other social supports is only a search or phone call away.

Here are a few ways to access free or low-cost non-medical resources.

Vaya Programs and Referrals

Vaya members and recipients can contact their care manager or call the Member and Recipient Service Line at 1-800-962-9003. This line is available 7 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Saturday, including holidays.  If you prefer to contact us online, submit a Community Resources Referral Request.

Medicaid members who are eligible for Vaya Total Care (Vaya’s Tailored Plan) will have access to additional benefits, such as wellness incentives, GED support, and more. Learn more by visiting our Vaya Total Care and Vaya Total Care Perks webpages.

Some Tailored Plan Medicaid members also will be eligible for the Healthy Opportunities Pilot program. This program focuses on improving housing, food security, transportation, and safety by connecting people to resources in their community. Learn more by visiting our Healthy Opportunities Pilot program webpage.
