Alamance-Caswell Provider Forum
          
Cardinal Innovations Healthcare’s Alamance-Caswell Local Provider Council will have a Provider Forum on February 22 in Burlington, N.C.
 
Nominations for the Local Provider Council may be taken from the floor during the forum. All providers are welcome to attend.
 
The Alamance-Caswell Provider Council is seeking representatives for a one-year term lasting from 2018 to 2019. CEOs, presidents, executive directors or senior staff of Cardinal Innovations Healthcare's Network Providers are eligible to serve on the Local Provider Council. This council meets the third Thursday of every other month, participation is expected to continue as an elected member on the council.
 
If interested, submit an email of interest to Garry Wiley, AC Provider Council President, at gwiley@umhs.net. Submissions for consideration must be submitted by close of business on March 7.

Piedmont Provider Council Meetings
 

The Piedmont Provider Council, which represents Cabarrus, Davidson, Rowan, Stanly and Union counties, will have its next meeting on March 1 at the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Piedmont Office in Kannapolis, N.C. This meeting will be for executives only.

The Piedmont Provider Membership Forum (previously known as the general membership meeting) will meet on February 9 at the same location.

The newly elected Piedmont Provider Council officers are President Chuck Hill, Vice President Mackie Johnson and Secretary Safi Martin.

Mecklenburg Provider Council Meetings
 

The Mecklenburg Provider Council (executive members) will meet on April 10 at Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center in Charlotte, N.C. The next Mecklenburg Provider Membership Forum meeting (formerly known as the general membership meeting) will be on March 21 at the same location.

The newly elected Mecklenburg Provider Council officers are President Devon Cornett, Vice President Denise Derkowski and Secretary Heather Drum.

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare’s Five County Provider Forum will be held on February 19 in Henderson, N.C. Five County is seeking local Provider Council representatives. The Five County area includes Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Vance and Warren counties.

 
 
OPC Provider Forum
 

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare’s OPC Provider Forum will be held on March 2 in Chapel Hill, N.C., to seek local Provider Council representatives for a one-year term lasting from 2018 to 2019. The OPC area includes Orange, Person and Chatham counties.

CEOs, presidents, executive directors or senior staff of Cardinal Innovations Healthcare's Network Providers are eligible to serve on the Local Provider Council. This council meets the fourth Friday of every other month, participation is expected to continue as an elected member on the council.

If interested, submit an email of interest to Carol McClelland, OPC Provider Council Secretary, at carol.m@fhrecovery.org. Submissions for consideration must be submitted by close of business on March 1, 2018.

 
 

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare is seeking applicants for our Client Rights Committee. The committee is comprised of members, family members and expert advisors from the community who meet at least quarterly. The committee:

  • Oversees clients' rights protections
  • Assures clients are treated with dignity and respect, and that they receive care in a safe and appropriate environment
  • Promotes awareness and education

At least 50 percent of the committee should be Cardinal Innovations members or family members. Representation is required from all disability groups, with membership from each of Cardinal Innovations 20 counties. Cardinal Innovations staff who serve on the committee do so as non-voting members. Applicants should:

  • Have the ability to work with others as a team
  • Be able to be impartial and fair

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each designated month at Cardinal Innovations, 2929 Crouse Lane, Burlington, N.C.
