Handbooks and manuals offer important information for members needing services for mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance use/addiction conditions. We offer information for individuals who do not have Medicaid and are seeking state-funded services, as well as information on our network of 900 providers.

Our brochures introduce you to Cardinal Innovations and the wide array of benefits available to members and their families. Some brochures span our entire coverage area, while others are specific to either our Northern or Southern region. Cardinal Innovations understands that each community is different and we strive to provide pertinent information for your community.

Our Enrollee Packet includes the member handbook for the NC MH/DD/SAS Health Plan, the State-Funded Services Consumer Guide, Appeals brochure and Provider Directory, as well as a letter welcoming you to our services. Military Veterans >
About one-third of North Carolina's population is connected to the military. The North Carolina General Assembly has recognized the importance of providing behavioral healthcare for military and military-related individuals through establishment of a task force to examine problems they may experience. Cardinal Innovations is committed to sharing the task force's findings and providing information for veterans, their families and our partners who provide services to these individuals.
