The Mecklenburg Community Operations Center is holding it's first annual symposium on Friday, May 22nd, 2015, to promote "rewriting the ending...together". This symposium will focus around crisis prevention and intervention in the local community and work to promote positive community connections that will champion the utilization of community based services and supports in order to divert individuals from the emergency departments and jails, whose behavioral health crisis could be met in the community.
