Community Networking services are intended to provide support for activities that enhance the participant's opportunities to develop meaningful community relationships in integrated community settings. The Community Networking service enables the participant to increase or maintain their capacity for independence and to develop social roles valued by members of the community. This service includes a combination of training, personal assistance, and supports as needed by the individual to participate in identified community activities.
As participants gain skills and increase community connections, the service hours should fade.
