Adult Mental Health Special Populations

​​​Adults with a serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) diagnosis (with or without co-occurring substance abuse or intellectual and developmental disability diagnosis) with a LOCUS Level of VI. Additional populations include adults with a mental health diagnosis who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Identified as needing or are currently receiving inpatient behavioral health treatment or behavioral health assessment/treatment in an emergency department

  • Have required frequent crisis services use

  • Currently, or has been within the past 30 days, in a facility operated by the Department of Correction ​
