National Night Out 2018

This year marks the 35th anniversary of National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that encourages the hosting of positive events on the first Tuesday in August in cities and communities across the nation. These events bring communities together to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood fellowship to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

We are excited to participate in several National Night Out events in our communities this evening. Below is a list of where you can find us this year:

Alamance County:
All six police departments and the Sheriff’s Office are preparing for their own National Night Out events, including the Sheriff’s Office and Mebane police who are partnering for their events, Burlington police with more than 40 events, Gibsonville police’s event downtown, Graham police’s events at four different locations, and Haw River police’s party is at Red Slide Park, 103 Elk St. Read the Times-News article for more details.
