Five Non-Profits Make On-Stage Pitches at Cardinal Innovations’ All-Staff Conference

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare — October 8, 2019 — 1 min read
For many attending Cardinal Innovations’ All Employee Leadership Conference last month, the highlight of the day was hearing the 3-minute on-stage pitches from five deserving non-profits. The presenting organizations were all alumni of SEED20, a program of Social Venture Partners which mentors non-profits and coaches them for an annual on-stage pitch competition.

The organizations represented at the Cardinal Innovations Conference are all aligned with our mission and serve our members, and received awards from our Community Reinvestment fund to further their work.
The participating organizations were:

Charlotte Rescue Mission provides long-term, residential, substance abuse programs for men, women and their children suffering from addiction.

Camp Blue Skies provides overnight camps for adults with developmental disabilities, enhancing their lives through recreation, socialization and life skills education.

Hope Vibes gives hope and real solutions to the homeless epidemic by providing personal hygiene products, building social relationships and is working toward a mobile shower and laundry service.

Phillips Academy is a middle, high and post-secondary school program for students with cognitive disabilities including those on the autism spectrum.

Zabs Place is a thrift boutique employing and empowering young adults with special talents offering them training and work opportunities to reveal their unique potential, talent and skills.
