Bailey’s Dream Comes True!

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare — April 18, 2019 — 2 min read
Bailey Dwyer, an athletic and energetic 19-year-old student at Mount Pleasant High School living with Down Syndrome, recently lived her dream of cheering with a professional squad. With the support of Cardinal Innovations and the Dream on 3 organization, Bailey traveled to Florida last month to cheer with the Orlando Magic Dancers during an NBA game. (The Magic won!) But her dream experience included so much more — even meeting Disney princesses.

Dream on 3 is a nonprofit with the mission to make sports dreams come true for children with chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities or life-altering conditions.

Bailey’s dream experience was made possible through Dream on 3’s Jr. Dream Team program, which partners with high schools and colleges to empower student leaders to plan a dream experience for a classmate. The Jr. Dream Team at Mount Pleasant High School selected Bailey because of her “big heart and how she loves fiercely and sees the best in others.”

Cardinal Innovations was honored to support Bailey’s memorable experience. The smile on her face—and the faces of everyone around her—say it all!
