Williams Syndrome

Williams syndrome (WS) is a genetic condition that is present at birth and can affect anyone. People with Williams syndrome may:

  • Be prone to cardiovascular problems
  • Have irregular physical features such as a broad forehead, a short nose, a wide mouth, loose skin, and dental problems
  • Experience intellectual and learning delays, particularly involving fine motor skills and visual-spatial tasks like drawing or working puzzles
  • Have a great talent for music
  • Be very outgoing and have great verbal and social skills
