CFAC Update: Opportunity Awaits

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare — November 05, 2019
Do you have a suggestion on how your local Consumer and Family Advisory Committee (CFAC) can serve you or your community? Do you have an experience you’d like to share?  Would you like to share programming or provider ideas?

Each Cardinal Innovations Regional CFAC group is open to the community and dedicates time on each agenda for a public comment. Following Robert’s Rules of Order, the Regional CFAC will go into closed session (not open to the community) when necessary.

Are you interested in having a larger state impact? The State CFAC is open to the community as well.  The State CFAC advises the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the General Assembly on the planning and management of the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (DMH/DD/SAS).

The next State CFAC meeting will take place on November 13 at the Division of Public Health in the Cardinal Meeting Room, 5605 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. Can’t attend in person? There is a call in option too. Conference call-in: 1-888-273-3658; access code: 2490768#.
