At Cardinal Innovations Healthcare, we are committed to improving the health and wellness of our members and their families, and we believe that investing in our communities is key to ensuring that services and supports are available to those in need. In addition to special reinvestment initiatives, like our recent COVID-19 Relief Fund, which provided almost $2 million to help our partners and neighbors with things like housing, food and access to care we also accept Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on an ongoing basis to fund capital equipment and/or programming initiatives.

We serve 825,000 North Carolinians with complex needs. Building strong relationships with our members, local providers and community leaders form the foundation for identifying and addressing the most pressing community needs.

We accept proposals for sustainable investments that will improve health outcomes for our members from:

  • Counties
  • Municipalities
  • Local public school systems/districts
  • Higher education institutions
  • Well-established tax-exempt organizations (defined as being in operation for a minimum of three (3) years and qualifying for exemption under Section 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), or 501(c)(6) of the IRS code)

Proposals must address needs in the counties Cardinal Innovations serves:
